Miami Heat star LeBron James believes the team will have to change their mindset if Dwyane Wade continues to miss games through injury, reports ESPN.
Wade has continued to struggle with knee soreness and missed his third game in succession on Tuesday night as the Heat beat the Boston Celtics. 93-86 at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
And after missing Tuesday's clash, Wade has now missed 12 out of the last 42 games and James believes his teammates must lear to cope with his absence.
Speaking to reporters, James said: "With some of the guys being in and out, and with the concern with D-Wade, it's been tough on all of us trying to fill that.
"We've just got to be able to do a little bit more consistently, and go in with the mindset sometimes that he's not playing instead of [he is] playing."
It remains to be seen as to whether Wade will make his comeback for the Heat when they take on the LA Lakers on Friday.
The Heat will be desperate to secure back-to-back victories, meanwhile the Lakers will be targeting a response after losing to the Chicago Bulls in their last match.
Do you think the Miami Heat are the same team without Wade in their side?
