Luke Shaw tight-lipped over potential Chelsea switch

Southampton star Luke Shaw has kept tight-lipped over rumours linking him with a move to Chelsea, reports The Express.

Shaw took to Twitter as he gave a question and answer session and was grilled with a number of questions regarding his future and a potential move to Chelsea.

However, the youngster decided not to respond to the questions as reports continue to link him with a move to Jose Mourinho's team.

Southampton have already insisted that they will not let their prize assets depart in this current transfer window, but with Chelsea on the lookout for a replacement for Ashley Cole, it remains to be seen as to whether the Blues will make a bid for the full-back.

In recent weeks, Chelsea have been linked with a £30 million swoop for the star, but could yet face competition from Premier League champions Manchester United for the player's services

Manchester United, like Chelsea, are on the lookout for a new left-back and it appears that England's elite clubs would like to make the youngster their own.

Shaw is currently one of the hottest prospects in England and the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea could battle for the player's signature in the near future.
