Manchester United boss David Moyes and chief executive Ed Woodward are desperate to prove they are capable of attracting Europe's best players to Old Trafford after a dreadful summer transfer window.

Some of the names that have been linked with Manchester United over the last couple of months are totally unrealistic but you can see a few of their proposed targets moving to the Premier League champions either by the end of the month or in the summer.

Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani and Yohan Cabaye are just a few of the names that are said to be high up on Moyes' transfer wish-list.

Talk of a move for some of Europe's top players has intensified since it was reported that Moyes would have in the region of £150million to spend between now and the start of next season.

Moyes has a huge task on his hands next summer as he could lose a number of Manchester United's senior stars.

Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra are all out of contract in the summer and will have to be replaced if they do not sign a new deal before the end of the season.

Fringe players such as Alexander Buttner, Ashley Young and Nani could also leave the club and would subsequently need to be replaced as Moyes will want suitable back-ups to his starting line-up in all areas of the pitch.

Here we predict who could be lining up for Manchester United next season. We have included players who we feel the Red Devils have a realistic chance of signing over the course of the next two transfer windows.

Click through the following pages to see who we feel should remain in Manchester United's starting XI and who we think Moyes should sign in order to boost his side's chances of competing for domestic and European silverware next season.
