It's a popular and enjoyable source of discussion and debate, thinking about just which sport stars could potentially excel across different sports and competitions separate from the field in which they have made their respective names and solidified reputations.
In particular, especially since Miami Heat superstar LeBron James announced his intention/desire to play in the NFL for at least one game before the end of his illustrious career, fans and pundits of American sports seem to love discussing which NBA stars could successfully make that switch over to the harsh world of gridiron football.
So, with that in mind, the good folks of Sports Illustrated have put together a team of present basketball players who make the best/easiest move into that world (and they've tossed in a couple of amusing additions for fun that we've left out that can be seen here).

So there is the team, what are your thoughts? There seems to be a good spread of players from across the NBA - which selections make sense? Any that don't? Any notable omissions?
Leave your own thoughts and your own ideas for teams below. Incidentally, are there any NFL players who you believe would shine in the NBA?
