Manchester United have moved a step closer to signing Juan Mata as the Chelsea midfielder's agent is on his way to England.
The Daily Mail claim the 25-year-old's representatives are flying in from Spain to finalise a deal that would see Mata move to Manchester United for a fee believed to be in the region of £37million.
Mata missed training earlier today and has reportedly told friends and family that he will be joining the Premier League champions before the end of the month.
The Chelsea playmaker is said to be keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge as he has fallen behind the likes of Willian and Oscar in Chelsea's pecking order.
Former Valencia midfielder Mata will be desperate to get some first team football under his belt between now and the end of the season in order to seal a place in Spain's squad for next summer's World Cup in Brazil.
