Arsenal have terminated the contract of on-loan winger Anthony Jeffrey by mutual consent, reports talkSPORT.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a loan spell with League One side Stevenage last season, and more recently was sent to Skrill Conference South outfit Boreham Wood.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Jeffrey's stint at Meadow Park had been extended until March 1, and now he's in line to sign for Ian Allinson's side permanently, having been released by the Premier League leaders.
Jeffrey is a winger who can also play as a central striker, and boasts explosive pace and an intelligence on the ball.
However, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has allowed the talented teenager to leave the Emirates Stadium, after failing to make a single first-team appearance in north London, as he attempts to forge a professional career for himself away from Arsenal.
The Daily Star had previously reported that Jeffrey had undertaken a trial spell in Holland with Eredivisie minnows RKC Waalwijk, though there have not been any developments to suggest that a move is in the offing.
