Greg Oden of the Miami Heat will finally be able to play as himself on NBA 2K14 game, after returning from injury this month.

The Miami Heat center signed for the Florida team back in August, 2013, more than three seasons after last appearing in an NBA game.

Oden returned to action on January 15th, and this now means he is part of the new round of roster updates on the Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Ronnie 2K 2K14 tweeted, "#NBA2K14 Roster Update went live overnight, incl. Greg Oden's return, Hedo Turkoglu signing & @RajonRondo's return from injury among changes."

Oden was a very promising player when came into the NBA in 2007. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers, but he has suffered from knee injuries and has been forced to have several surgeries.

Thankfully he has recovered enough to be given another shot in the NBA, and at least for now, fans can play as the talented 26-year-old on videogames consoles.
