Is that allowed? Man United star has privates grabbed

Manchester United's season of despair plunged new depths on Wednesday evening as they were ousted from the Capital One Cup by Sunderland at the semi-final stage following a penalty shootout low on quality but high on entertainment.

Only three spot-kicks were converted from 10 taken with Darren Fletcher the solitary United player to have done so, while Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones, Adnan Januzaj and Rafael all failed miserably.

For Januzaj it was an evening to forget, perhaps, more than most at Old Trafford as, along with his penalty miss, the Manchester United teenager was also on the receiving end of a rather intrusive challenge from Craig Gardner.

The Sunderland midfielder received a caution during the first-half of extra time after taking an unusual approach to preventing a run from Januzaj, with Gardner going for *ahem* the wrong ball.

With the 18-year-old Red Devils star on the attack, Gardner halted his progress by going for the reach around and grabbing hold of Januzaj's private parts.

Take a look at Manchester United midfielder Adnan Januzaj having his privates grabbed in the video above, and thanks to 101greatgoals for bringing it to our attention.
