Things are currently surprisingly rosy for Emmanuel Adebayor at Tottenham Hotspur despite a turbulent campaign which saw him ostracised by former boss Andre Villas-Boas, far from the first manager to deem the controversial Togolese striker surplus to requirements.

Whether it's headbutting team-mates or inciting a near riot with celebrations Adebayor has never shirked the limelight, a stance made all the more frustrating by a raw talent that makes the fearsome forward virtually unplayable on top form.
