Tim Hardaway Jr.

Credit where credit is due, Hardaway Jr. has been getting plaudits this season despite playing in a truly awful Knicks team in his rookie year.

The 24th overall pick out of Michigan college has a shooting range that any NBA player would be proud of, and he might be worth an entry for his dunk over Ray Allen back on Jan. 9 alone.

Ranking first in field-goal percentage (45.9%), second in three-point shooting (40.5%), and third in points per 48 minutes (21.4) amongst rookies*, Knicks fans have come to see him as an alternative to the disruptive figure of J.R. Smith.

Has room for improvement defensively, but has the confidence (see Allen dunk) and ability to maintain a steady upward curve.

*Hardaway Jr. stats accurate as of Jan. 15
