This is a starting XI - along with substitutes - comprised of players in the Premier League who play in blue. The clubs that the players feature from are Everton, Manchester City and Chelsea. The players are picked on history as well as current form...
Goalkeeper: Petr Cech - Chelsea
With ears of experience, Cech has been shot-stopping in the Chelsea goal for years and is still regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Right-back: Seamus Coleman - Everton
Bombing forward from the Everton backline, Coleman has scored five goals in the Premier League this season while also picking up nine clean sheets.
Centre-back: John Terry - Chelsea
A rock at the back, Terry puts everything on the line for his club and the Blues captain is also dangerous going forward with two goals and an assist to go along with his eight clean sheets this season.
Centre-back: Vincent Kompany - Manchester City
Although out with injury for a while, when he's on or off the pitch his importance is felt. With City mainly focusing on attack as their form of defence, Kompany only has three clean sheets under his belt this season but has found the back of the net twice.
Left-back: Leighton Baines - Everton
Although out for five games due to injury, Baines started the season well and is continuing to do so after his return. Everton's set-piece taker has scored three goals and made one assist, as well as keeping seven clean sheets.
Central-midfielder: Yaya Toure - Manchester City
A powerhouse for the Etihad side, Toure is a towering figure in the middle of the park. With 11 goals, four assist and helping out in keeping seven clean sheets, Toure is doing it all this season for Manchester City.
Central-midfielder: Ramires - Chelsea
Running up and down a field for 90 minutes with ease, Ramires is a tireless box-to-box midfielder. His influence to Chelsea's success is hidden in the starlight of his teammates, however Ramires has scored a goal while assisting three times and has been key to picking upeight clean sheets.
Right-attacking midfielder: Eden Hazard - Chelsea
His second season with Chelsea and he's doing it again. Chelsea's top scorer with nine goals, the Belgian also has eight assists and has contributed to eight clean sheets in the process. A truly talented youngster who will continue to improve.
Central-attacking midfielder: Oscar - Chelsea
When a young Brazilian is picked over a two-time player of the season (Juan Mata) there is some level of expectation, and Oscar has certainly lived up to it. With 6 goals and 4 assists, Oscar has impressed in the no. 10 role under new manager Jose Mourinho.
Left-attacking midfielder: David Silva - Manchester City
This season Silva has been a little quiet with his fellow tea-mates picking up the headlines, however Silva is still a very influential figure at Manchester City and has scored four goals while assisting his teammates six times.
Centre-forward: Sergio Aguero - Manchester City
The little Argentinian is back at it again and scoring goals seemingly for fun. With 14 goals and nine assists in the league, Aguero is having an impressive season and will surely be looking to keep it going until the end.
This team of course is subject to opinion with the likes of Andre Schurrle, Jesus Navas, Samir Nasri and Fernandinho not included. All I can say is looking at the players that aren't even included, we can see that the blue-clad clubs of the Premier League have some very, very influential players.
