FA Cup holders Wigan entertain Premier League strugglers Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the FA Cup this weekend.

The holders go into the game with only one loss to their name in the last nine games in all competitions. The defeat came last weekend when the lost 3-0 to Doncaster.

The Latics had a tough time in the third round and needed a replay to knock out League One side MK Dons. The sides drew 3-3 at the DW stadium but two extra time goals from Nick Powell ensured a 3-1 win in the return fixture.

Crystal Palace have won two out of the last five matches in all competitions but come into the game on the back of a 1-0 win against Stoke.

Palace beat West Brom in their last FA Cup fixture and will be looking to avoid an upset against Championship opposition.

The Eagles manager Tony Pulis may rest key players though as the Premier League is the London sides main concern.

Wigan won the cup last year but were relegated. Tomorrow's game will be the first time the sides have met in the FA Cup.

The last three meetings between the sides have ended in one win for each and a draw. The most recent game was in the League Cup in 2011 where Palace won 2-1.

Palace have only managed to score 14 goals so far this season in the Premier League and Wigan will look to capitalise on this. Wigan have only failed to score three times in the last 10 games.

Prediction: Wigan 1 - 2 Crystal Palace
