Juventus have made a €11m bid for Manchester United winger Nani but that may be €9m too little, according to reports in France.
According to Le 10 Sport, Juventus have given up their pursuit of Paris Saint-German winger Jeremy Menez and will instead focus their attention on United's Nani.
Citing reports from Tuttosport, the French newspaper claims that Juventus have officially submitted their initial offer of €11m for Nani.
The defending Italian champions are keen to complete the deal this month, rather than wait for the out of contract Menez to become available at the end of the season.
But David Moyes will be reluctant to lose a first-team player mid-way through the season, especially considering the club's ropey start to life under the new boss.
Having said that, the report suggests United may find it difficult to turn down a bid of €20m for the former-Sporting Lisbon star.
Moyes is eager to improve the squad this month - United look close to agreeing a club record deal for Juan Mata - and the club could use extra funds to supplement further additions.
