Fox Sports really are a brilliantly diabolical organization. What sick mind could possibly try and make Seattle Seahawks fans, the loudest in the NFL, sit through the whole of the NFC Championship game in pure silence.
The fans who were all coaches or players in a Seattle football league, were made to watch the game making absolute zero noise, to be in with a chance of winning $5000 for their league.
The footage is incredible. Watching the guys celebrate touchdowns together passionately, but without making any noise, is strangely compelling and fascinating.
And they were all doing so well until the last minute. But then Richard Sherman had to go and make the biggest play in the history of his career, and just like Sherman did in his post game interview with Erin Andrews, the fans erupted into a mass of noise and excitement.
But obviously they had lost the £5,000 right? Well not really.
Maybe Fox isn't as evil as i made out in the start. They donated the league a huge $50,000, 10 times more than what was on offer originally.
If you're an amateur psychologist, the footage which can be found here, makes for incredibly interesting viewing of which i'll let you draw your own conclusions.
