Robert Lewandoski is a striker in fine form, and now we know where he'll be playing come July 1, has he made Bayern Munich near enough unstoppable?
Now, Bayern are arguably the best team in the world; they have the Club World Cup to prove they are, but now they have one of the best strikers in the world.
Mario Mandzukic is a class striker that could get into almost any team in the world but Lewandowski is arguably better - a lot better - and with Bayern's already amazing midfield and defence he's just made arguably the weakest position stronger.
Now, a lot can change in six months. Maybe Borussia Dortmund will pick up a new, even better striker or maybe AS Monaco will splash the cash and sign all the right players, but for now it seems Bayern have signed the right player to win everything for the next few years.
That's a bold statement but the team that beat Barcelona 7-0 (on aggregate) with the addition of the player that destroyed Real Madrid by scoring four times in one match, it does look like they've now got a combination that'll be hard to beat.
Maybe a team can crack that defensive code but with domestic teams not as strong and while Dortmund keep losing their best players it doesn't look like there's going to be any other Bundesliga winners in the next few years.
And unless Real Madrid's magic duo in Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are better than we think, Bavarian dominance in Europe is inevitable.
