After several months of doom and gloom, things are finally looking up for Manchester United and their manager David Moyes.
Juan Mata is on the verge of finalising his £37m move from Chelsea, while one or two more players could be on their way to Old Trafford before the January transfer window closes next Friday.
So, all going to plan, how might Manchester United's best starting line-up look on February 1?
Goalkeeper: David de Gea
Not much to say here. David de Gea will be delighted that his fellow Spaniard Juan Mata is now at the same club.
Left-back: Luke Shaw
United have tabled a £22.5m bid for the Southampton left-back – but they may need to increase their offer to lure the 18-year-old to Old Trafford.
If he doesn't sign, then Patrice Evra will continue in his role as the Red Devils' first-choice left-back until the end of the season.
Centre-back: Phil Jones
It's about time Phil Jones was given a run in the team at centre-back. This, it seems, will become his natural position.
Centre-back: Nemanja Vidic
Nemanja Vidic could be off at the end of the season, but in the meantime the club captain retains his place at the heart of defence.
When Rafael's fit, he starts. Simple as that.
Central midfield: Michael Carrick
Age might be catching up with Michael Carrick, but he's still United's most important midfielder.
Moyes must seriously consider signing a long-term replacement this summer, mind.
Central midfield: Marouane Fellaini
United spent £27m on Marouane Fellaini last summer, so expect to see the Belgium international return to central midfield when he recovers from injury.
Left-wing: Adnan Januzaj
The Red Devils have been linked to Marco Reus, but signing the Borussia Dortmund winger could limit the playing time of United's most promising youngster.
Adnan Januzaj is a class act who must continue playing every week.
Attacking midfield: Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney is reportedly set to sign a contract extension at Old Trafford, which is wonderful news for Manchester United.
The England international has been United's best player this season.
Right-wing: Juan Mata
United's club-record signing is likely to play from the right flank, where he will hope to score goals and provide assists cutting in on his trusty left boot.
Mata in this Manchester United team is a hugely exciting prospect.
Striker: Robin van Persie
And leading the line, when he's finally fit again, will be Robin van Persie.
How United have missed the Dutchman in recent weeks.
