Bolton Wanderers are thought to be close to completing the signing of Middlesbrough striker Lukas Jutkiewicz, according to the Bolton News

The 24-year-old should complete a loan move until the end of the season and help out the Trotters who currently have a striker crisis.

With Jermaine Beckford injured and David N'Gog close to completing his proposed switch to Swansea City, Craig Davies is the only available forward at the club and he has only completed ninety minutes once all season, last weekend in the FA Cup tie against Cardiff City.

Jutkiewicz has struggled for form this season, seeing him slip behind summer signing Kei Kamara. The former Everton striker joined Middlesbrough in January 2012 and it is thought that he is actively looking for a move away from the Riverside.

Dougie Freedman's Bolton side, who were knocked out of the FA Cup on Saturday, are currently four points away from the relegation zone.
