Manchester United boss David Moyes has been handed a major injury boost ahead of his side's clash with Cardiff City tomorrow night.

In the United manager's pre-match press conference, as reported by the club's official website, Moyes revealed that striker's Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie took part in training today.

The Red Devils boss also confirmed that Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini trained ahead of tomorrow's clash at Old Trafford.

Manchester United fans will be hoping the trio can help the side return to winning ways after a disappointing start to 2014.

United have been beaten in four of their last five games and will be desperate for a victory over Cardiff City tomorrow.

The match will also see former fan favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer return to the Theatre of Dreams as manager of the Bluebirds.

The atmosphere at Old Trafford should be electric tomorrow night as Manchester United's new signing Juan Mata looks set to make his debut for the Premier League champions.

Manchester United will be looking to secure their place in the top four in the league this season as they go in search of Champions League qualification.
