Ea Sports have run the Super Bowl XLVIII match up through Madden NFL 25, and it is going to be a close game between Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos.

There will be snow, interceptions, forced fumbles, and overtime at the MetLife Stadium Sunday, if the video game is to believed.

And before you write it off as a pointless exercise, Madden has a fairly impressive record when it comes to predicting the winners in the annual end of season showdown.

The game has come up with the correct result in eight out of the last ten Super Bowls and as Ben Silverman of Yahoo! notes they have been scarily accurate in the past:

"When Madden picked the Giants to beat the Patriots, (it) missed the spread by one point, predicted the exact score for the Patriots in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, and correctly pegged Eli Manning as the MVP", Silverman explained.

Unfortunately the video doesn't include post-match interviews so we will have to wait until Sunday to hear what Richard Sherman has to say on the whole affair.
