Xavi has no interest in move away from Barcelona

Barcelona and Spain star, Xavi, has no intention of leaving Barcelona. Despite being linked with a move to the MLS or Qatar.

The midfielder, 34, has recently signed a new contract with the Spanish Giants, keeping him at the club until 2016.

Xavi has expressed his desire and determination to carry on and the highest level, and wanted to stay at his beloved Barcelona.

He said: "I’m not going to Qatar or New York, I want to finish my contract with Barca"

"I’ve been here for many years, there are a lot of memories and we’ve won a lot of titles with this generation of footballers, one look back and you realise that we’ve really enjoyed ourselves."

Barcelona are currently top of La Liga, level on points with Athletico Madrid, fierce rivals Real Madrid are a point behind.
