Everton target Ricardo van Rhijn has cooled speculation linking him with a move to the Merseyside outfit.
The Ajax right-back has been in brilliant form this season, contributing two goals in 14 games and establishing himself as a regular starter.
The 21-year-old is happy at his current club, despite losing his international place to Feyenoord's Daryl Janmaat.
Speaking to Amsterdam TV station AT5 he said: "It would be nice if they are interested, but for now I am happy here in Amsterdam."
Everton are currently sixth in the league, and pressing for European football next season.
Toffees manager Roberto Martinez already has an established right-back in the form of Seamus Coleman at his disposal but was said to be keen on signing Van Rhihn as back up.
