PSG defensive midfielder Blaise Matuidi could be set for a January move to England.
According to The Daily Express, the talented Frenchman out of contract with the French champions in the summer, with Manchester City apparently ready to bid £8 million and Chelsea also linked with his services.
The 26 year-old will be a free agent in the summer, but City, who are a point behind leaders Arsenal, are wanting to strengthen in midfield and presumably see Matuidi as the perfect man to rotate with Yaya Toure and Fernandinho.
Chelsea are also interested and surely have money to spend after the sale of Juan Mata, and it is believed that manager Jose Mourinho will not be put off despite making the signing of another defensive midfielder in Nemanja Matic from Benfica.
It is believed that PSG will be happy to sell to either side at around the £8 million mark, but could look into the possibility of a swap deal with City for either Gael Clichy or Alexander Kolorov.
