Malachi Dupre is planning to officially visit Ole Miss this week as the race for the best recruits heats up.
Dupre is a five-star recruit and rated as the second best receiver in the nation according to scouts.com. He has already visited Alabama, LSU and Florida State with a visit to UCLA to follow in the coming weeks.
The receiver who plays out of River Ridge, Louisiana is reportedly leaning towards LSU.
Dupre is 6'2" and weighs in at 187 pounds and is thought to be an instant impact recruit that the Rebels could use in their 2014 season as they look to improve on an 8-5 season.
Ole Miss believe that they have a chance of signing Dupre, although it is usually difficult to persuade players to leave elite programs in-state, the player has taken five unofficial visits to the school and is yet to make a decision either way with signing day approaching.
The Ole Miss Rebels finished last season with an 8-5 record in the SEC with a victory over Georgia Tech in the Music City Bowl.
