Because so much is spoken and written about Europe's biggest clubs, many well-performing teams can often go under the radar.

So, with that in mind, who are Europe's most underrated teams at this moment in time?

5) Marseille

The French side is one of the most successful French teams in history; however, they haven’t been their best as of late. They still have stars like Jordon and Andre Ayew, while their players are some of the most consistent in the league.

4) Fiorentina

Fiorentina are a very up and down team, but when they have a good season no-one seems to notice because most of the focus is on teams like Milan, Inter and Juventus.

However, this season has been a good one for Fiorentina, and they are favourites to finish in the top four.

3) Southampton

Southampton are slowly becoming one of the best teams in England. They didn’t have the best start to their returning season in the Premier League, but since the appointment of Argentine manager Mauricio Pochettino, they have been one of the best teams to watch.

Their fast-paced attacking style is becoming one of the most feared styles in England.

2) Everton

Everton are a team that gets lots of attention because of the fact they are able to hold their own or even beat the big teams in England.

The Toffees have become favourites to challenge for the top four and Sir Alex Ferguson even stated that he believes that they can one day win the league; and if they play as well as they do that is a firm possibility.

1) Bayer Leverkusen

Not only do they have the best German striker in the world at the moment - Stefan Kiesling - they also have one of the deadliest attacking trios in the world.

The combination of Kiesling, Sidney Sam and Son Heung-Min they have possibly the most potent attacking force in the league. Bayer 04 are currently challenging for the second spot in the Bundesliga and are some people's choice to win it.
