Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey has admitted he might have made the worst first round draft pick in NBA history.

Royce White was selected 16th overall by the Rockets in the 2012 draft, but since then he has failed to play a single minute of regular-season NBA basketball.

The former Iowa State player has cited an anxiety disorder as the major issue which has prevented him from fulfilling his potential to date, but neither White, the Houston Rockets or Philadelphia 76ers (who he was traded to in July 2013) have shed much light on the situation.

But now Rockets GM, Morey, has made light of the situation, criticising White in the process:

"I take some sort of pride that you could argue that Royce White is the worst-first round pick ever.

"He's the only one that never played a minute in the NBA that wasn't just a foreign guy staying in Europe," Morey told Ben DuBose at Clutchfans.

While he may have a point, it seems a touch insensitive for the GM to come down hard on White considering his well publicised issues with anxiety, and wider mental health concerns.

White was last seen in action for Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the D-league.

What do you think? Who would you pick as NBA's greatest draft bust?
