Manchester United have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Bayern Munich star Toni Kroos, reports the Daily Mirror.
Bayern boss Pep Guardiola has hinted that Kroos could depart the Bavarians, amid links with Premier League champions Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has still not signed a new deal with the German champions and is out of contract at the club in 2015.
Guardiola recently described Kroos as "an important player but it can go fast in football." according to ESPN.
"Here today, there tomorrow."
Reports yesterday had revealed that Manchester United boss David Moyes was considering a £25 million move for the midfielder.
It remains to be seen as to whether the Red Devils will step up their interest in the star before the end of this transfer window, but United seem desperate to land a new midfielder.
David Moyes will be in good spirits this morning after he saw his Manchester United team beat Cardiff City 2-0 at Old Trafford last night.
Juan Mata played his part in the victory on his debut with Robin van Persie and Ashley Young on the scoresheet for the champions.
