Bolasie's Blog: Hull

We had another big game last night as Hull City are a team that we are competing against to stay in the Premier League.

We knew we had to win if we are going to have any say in the relegation battle for the rest of the season.

When the defence are keeping clean sheets, it does give you the freedom to go up the pitch as you know you can rely on what’s going on at the back.

I’m happy for the defence because at the start of the season we were conceding a lot more goals. But now we are starting to score more up the other end.

The gaffer gave me the whole week off as I was carrying a knock and today I was playing through the pain barrier. I feel it paid off as I helped the team score, so that makes me happy to know I played a part in the victory.

It’s coming up to the end of the transfer window so hopefully we can get a few players in as I think we need a couple of players but we will all just have to wait and see what happens.

I wish Wilf good luck at Cardiff as I think he will do well in the Premier League. We all know he has the ability to perform on the biggest stage.

I am gutted we lost against Wigan in the FA Cup as we didn’t want to go out of the cup but now it’s given us a chance to concentrate on the league and we showed good strength last night to bounce back with a win.

Hopefully we can go to Arsenal and try come away with all the three points, which we know is going to be extremely tough given the fact that they are top of the Premier League.

Playing against Arsenal is going to be another dream come true this season as I was an Arsenal fan growing up so I’ll be looking forward to playing against them at the Emirates on Sunday.
