Arguably one of the longest running sagas of this January transfer window is the transfer (or not) of Tom Ince. However, there now looks to be a conclusion in sight after the Blackpool winger was spotted at Stoke City's training ground.

Reports in the Mirror say that interest has not only come from Premier League clubs, but from Europe too - with big-spending Monaco and Ajax rumoured to be expressing an interest in his services.

It is thought that dad Paul's relationship with Stoke manager Mark Hughes could swing the deal the Potters way, but that would end the chances of Liverpool, Swansea or Sunderland signing the highly-rated starlet.

What is known for sure is that his current club, Blackpool, will look to maximise the sale as they need to bring in players of their own as they continue to struggle in the Championship.

If a permanent deal can't be finalised before the Friday deadline then a initial loan could be in place with a view to a full transfer in the summer, with the winger only having six months left on his contract.
