Nottingham Forest, Reading and Wigan are all caught up in a three-way bidding war for Hull City defender Jack Hobbs.
Hobbs has spent the first half of the season on loan at Forest and his current manager Steve Bruce confirmed to Sky Sports the nature of the bids: "We have accepted a bid from Forest, we have accepted a bid from Wigan and we have accepted a bid from Reading. I expect Jack to go."
The ball in now most certainly in the player's court, as he must decide which club to choose as Hull are content with the transfer fee.
Hobbs has played 25 games for Forest this season, and did form a settled partnership in central defence with Jamaal Lascalles which Billy Davies is keen to reform.
