The NBA game between the Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons, scheduled for this evening, has been postponed.
Both the Pistons and Hawks Twitter accounts revealed the news today which had been widely speculated following the recent snow storm that has hit the south-east of the US.
With Atlanta currently experiencing severe winter weather, and it's residents reportedly having to sleep in their cars overnight due to major snow disruption, the city is at near shut down.
And this has effected the cities NBA franchise.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the Detroit Pistons were unable to fly Tuesday night after their win over the Orlando Magic, as Atlanta's airport struggled to cope with the inclement weather.
And under NBA regulations a travelling team has to arrive in the road city the night before a game.
The game is to be rescheduled - potentially for Thursday night weather permitting.
