There's just a few days left in the January transfer window, and if the amount of transfer stories today are anything to go there should be plenty of action before 11pm on Friday.

Every year FIFA TMS release their annual transfer trends report, which shows which countries have the most active clubs in the transfer market, and who spends the most money amongst other things.

In it, they claim that transfer activity rose by four percent over the last year - but what else can it tell us?
