The Crimson Tide seems to have won one of this years most hotly contested recruitment battles.
Five star cornerback Marlon Humphrey has announced via Twitter that he will be heading to Alabama next season:
"Thanks for everyone that has supported me this far I'm happy to say I am committed to the University of Alabama! #RollTide"
The news will be music to the ears of Alabama fans, but his choice to play for Nick Saban will not go down well with reigning champions, Florida State, who were the other frontrunners for his signature.
The 6' 0", 180-pounder is one of the nation's most highly regarded talents in high school athletics also, and is a very welcome addition to the Crimson Tide's roster as they seek to regain top spot.
Humphrey visited Tuscaloosa, the home of the University of Alabama, last weekend and it seems this visit helped secure his commitment.
The Hoover native will follow in the footsteps of his father Bobby Humphrey, who played running back for Alabama during his college days.
We did say he would end up with 'Bama, where will the remaining non-commits end up on National Signing Day?
