Magic Johnson has had his say, so we thought it was about time we did too.

As the season nears it's fourth month some teams sit in unfamiliar positions.

The Lakers, and Mike D'Antoni, are struggling big time whilst the Boston Celtics are all but admitting defeat.

But on the flip side of that, there are some team's who are performing well beyond expectations as head coaches across the league look to install their ethos.

While some elite teams/the Pacers just keep on winning.

So which coaches are earning their stripes this year, and who would win the coach of the year award if it was handed out now?

Indiana Pacers
Phoenix Suns
Portland Trail Blazers
