Arsenal are closing in on the double signing of Juventus star Mirko Vucinic and Schalke ace Julian Draxler, reports The Sun.
The Gunners appear to be closing in on a loan switch for Vucinic, which could see him join the north London outfit until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has struggled for chances in the Serie A this season having lost his place in the side to the likes of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente.
And, last night, a Juventus insider told The Sun: “Vucinic is close to going to Arsenal on loan until the end of the season.”
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also likely to bring Draxler to the club before the end of the transfer window.
Draxler looks set to join the Gunners on a permanent deal as the club continue negotiations with Schalke.
The two signings could act as a major boost for Arsenal as they go in search of the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners were, last night, overtaken by Manchester City at the top of the table and will be desperate to end their trophy drought in this campaign.
