Barcelona star Isaac Cuenca is being lined up for a potential deadline-day switch to the Premier League, according to talkSPORT.

Three teams are thought to have shown an interest in the starlet, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham all mulling over a possible bid.

The 22-year-old has had his career stalled by a host of knee injuries, the most recent coming in March, leaving him well down the pecking order at the Camp Nou.

Cuenca has yet to feature for the Catalan side this season, and its possible that he will be making a move away.

Barcelona coach, Tata Martino, has said: "He is training, We will see if he stays here or gets the chance to play elsewhere."

His latest move was a loan spell at Ajax, where he picked up a knee injury, that required him to have a major operation.

Arsenal are widely expected to sign Julian Draxler, whilst Liverpool are chasing Ukraninan winger Yevhen Konoplyanka, but Cuenca is a viable back-up that could move should these transfers fail to materialise.

Tottenham have shown an interest in the player since the start of the transfer window, and with Lewis Holtby likely to be leaving in the next 48 hours Cuenca may be brought in as cover.
