Should DeAndre Jordan really be an NBA All-Star? Blake Griffin definitely thinks so.

Tonight the NBA All-Star reserves for next month will be announced, and everyone in the LA Clippers camp certainly think that Jordan should be in with a shoot.

It's hard to complain against the notion of DeAndre turning out as a back-up during that game, with his play this season helping the Clippers become a force to be reckoned with.

Speaking to the press this week, team-mate Griffin explained.

"I don't know what more you want him to do. He's leading the league in rebounding, (he's) an anchor for us defensively, blocking shots, doing all that," Griffin told Fox Sports

"But having said that, there's a lot of guys that deserve to play in the All-Star game. I feel like every year there's guys that get snubbed.

"I do think he's had an All-Star year, but by no means does all-star define what you do for the season."

Jordan is not one to get ahead of himself regarding praise and comments of a positive nature. He has also been a player that generally gets his head down and does the job he's asked.

"My teammates just gave me a lot of confidence when I was going up there," Jordan said. "I'm probably going to ask (coach Doc Rivers) if I can shoot the techs from now on."

We'll find out tonight whether Jordan makes the NBA All-Star reserve list. To find what happens keep an eye out for our updates
