23:47 - Right, after nearly 15 straight hours I am finally calling time on this live blog. Thanks to those who have been reading - it's been a pleasure, even if things never did get particularly lively.
There will be more news and reaction to come on GMS over the weekend, so keep your eyes peeled!
23:42 - DONE DEALS!
As part of that aforementioned Tom Ince deal, Stephen Dobbie has moved back to Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.

23:30 - Multiple sources reporting that Yevhen Konoplyanka will not be joining Liverpool. Another bitter pill to swallow for Brendan Rodgers after seeing Mohamed Salah sign for Chelsea.
23:16 - DONE DEAL!
A busy ol' day for QPR, who have now confirmed their fifth signing of the day in the shape of Modibo Maiga. The West Ham striker joins on loan until the end of the season.

A bit out of the blue, this one, but Championship outfit Watford have confirmed the signing of Arsenal striker Park Chu-Young on loan until the end of the season - subject to clearance from the Premier League.
23:00 - THE TRANSFER WINDOW IS NOW CLOSED FOR BUSINESS!
We will be hanging around for a little while to see what late deals may or may not have been squeezed through in time...
22:50 - DONE DEAL!
Harry Redknapp done his fourth deal of the day, with QPR confirming the loan capture of Manchester United forward Will Keane until the end of the season.
22:45 - Jonny Heitinga has been tweeting upon his exit, the Dutch defender had this to say after leaving Everton:

22:39 - DONE DEALS!
Swansea have confirmed the return of Marvin Emnes on loan from Middlesbrough (subject to international and Premier League clearance), with the option to make the transfer permanent in the summer.
Also, the Daily Mirror have confirmed that Espanyol forward Thievy Bifouma has joined West Brom on loan until the end of the season.
22:32 - DONE DEAL!
And just like that, Everton have confirmed that Heitinga has joined Fulham on a free transfer after almost five years on Merseyside.
22:29 - More potential goings on at Fulham, who have been one of the major players on this deadline day. The BBC's Ian Dennis claims he has heard that a deal to sign Everton defender Jonny Heitinga is done.
22:24 - DONE DEAL!
Is this as big as it's going to get? Daily Mail reporter Colin Young has confirmed that Sunderland striker Danny Graham has joined Middlesbrough on loan.
22:14 - QPR could be set to make yet another deadline day addition, with talkSPORT's Ian Abrahams claiming that Modibo Maiga is at Loftus Road ahead of a possible switch from West Ham.
Five Live's Juliette Ferrington, meanwhile, believes that Blackpool are still waiting to receive the necessary paperwork regarding Tom Ince's proposed loan move to Crystal Palace.
22:07 - There appears to be a bit of confusion regarding Dimitar Berbatov's move to Monaco. The French side are claiming that it is a loan deal, while Fulham say it is a permanent transfer.
Who is right, I wonder?
22:00 - ONE HOUR REMAINING! WE REPEAT, THERE IS ONE HOUR OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW REMAINING! Was that dramatic enough?
2155: DONE DEAL!
Senderos is indeed off to Valencia on a permanent deal, Fulham have confirmed.
21:41 - In slightly more puzzling news, the Daily Mail are breaking news of Valencia's supposed interest in Fulham defender Philippe Senderos.
Will he follow Aaron Hughes, Adel Taarabt and Dimitar Berbatov out of the door at Craven Cottage?
The same source also has these quotes from Oliver Cabrera, the agent of Liverpool target Yevhen Konoplyanka...
'The player was happy with the move but there is no agreement between the clubs. Ihor Kolomoyskyi (Dnipro pres) doesn't want to sell the player. I don't think it's a question of money."
2134 - DONE DEAL!
Chelsea midfielder Gael Kakuta has joined Lazio on loan until the end of the season, the club have confirmed.
21:32 - DONE DEAL!
AS Monaco have confirmed the Berbatov deal. Can you imagine a more perfect fit? We certainly can't...
21:20 - Eirik Lyngved has been in touch regarding the future of Fernando, whose proposed move to Manchester City has not materialised today...
"Considering Fernando from Porto was not on the bus today, and his contract is running out this summer, I think it's likely something is on. If not City, which I hope, there's someone else."
Could the Porto midfielder be a late target for someone else?
21:14 - BBC Sport's Ben Smith also tweeting that Dimitar Berbatov has signed a deal to join Monaco on loan until the end of the season. We await confirmation from Fulham...
21:02 - DONE DEAL!
Blackburn Rovers have confirmed that centre-back Scott Dann has joined Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee. He has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Selhurst Park.
20:56 - Brian McDermott's dismissal looks as if it could have serious ramifications for the future of leading goalscorer Ross McCormack. The Daily Mail claim that no fewer than six clubs have made enquiries for the striker.
Meanwhile, French football journalist James Johnson has tweeted that he is hearing Dimitar Berbatov's transfer from Fulham to Monaco is done.
20:47 - GMS favourite and Leeds United fan @Tom_Leak is not happy about the McDermott sacking, labelling it 'an absolute travesty'...
20:35 - To Newcastle now, where the Daily Mirror are reporting that Papiss Cisse has rejected the chance to move to Turkish side Trabzonspor. It seems that Newcastle accepted a bid for the striker, but Cisse wants to stay in England for the time being and revisit things in the summer.
20:23 - All is quiet on the transfer front at the moment, but a storm seems to be raging in Leeds with multiple sources claiming that manager Brian McDermott has been sacked after less than a year in charge at Elland Road.
20:09 - Still no word on Yevhen Konoplyanka's proposed move to Liverpool, with less than three hours to go now until the window closes. Daily Mail reporter Alex Kay has revealed that the Reds tried and failed to sign Swansea defender Chico Flores today.
20:06 - DONE DEAL!
The Sun confirming that Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has joined Birmingham on loan until the end of the season.
19:58 - Seems a few of you aren't happy with the Kallstrom move...
@Jamieec12: "yeah obviously we wanted draxler but kallstrom is even better. Hope he makes the 2006 World Cup squad!!!!!!!!!"
@FPlummer15: "thought we would've just paid the £30 million for Draxler #AFC"
@John2341990: "From Draxler to Kallstrom #Laughable"
Keep your thoughts coming...
19:49 - Reaction to the news of Kim Kallstrom's move to Arsenal. Arsene Wenger had this to say on his new loan signing:
"Kim Kallstrom is a hugely-experienced player. He is a midfielder with proven quality at both club and international level. We welcome Kim to Arsenal."
Kallstrom seems similarly thrilled to move to North London, telling the club's official website:
“Arsenal is an amazing club with a lot of great players and a coach who has done really well here for a long time. I am so pleased to come here to learn as much as possible. I’m here to do my best for Arsenal and to help out the team, so we can achieve good results for the last part of the season.”
19:45 - DONE DEAL!
Heading North of the border, SPL champions Celtic have confirmed a deal to sign striker Leigh Griffiths from Wolves. The Scot has notched 12 goals in 25 League One appearances this season.
19:38 - DONE DEAL!
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom. The Swede will join the Premier League title chasers on loan until the end of the season.
19:33 - Here's a new one - Sky Sports sources claiming that Cardiff have made a bid for Adam Le Fondre. The Reading striker has been in a rich vein of form lately, notching back-to-back home hat-tricks under Nigel Adkins.
However, given that the Royals only have two out-and-out strikers in their squad and don't look to be in a position to strengthen further with uncertainty over a proposed takeover, it seems unlikely that they will sell.
19:24 - Some more information on Julian Draxler's scuppered move to Arsenal - BBC Sport's David Ornstein claims that the Gunners board were willing to meet Schalke's valuation and were keen to get it done this month. Arsene Wenger, however, was unwilling to budge on his own valuation of the player.
Still awaiting confirmation on Arsenal's loan move for Kim Kallstrom.
19:16 - Looks like Swansea could be on the verge of adding to their squad, with Sky's Graeme Bailey claiming that the club are in talks with Middlesbrough over a move for Marvin Emnes and are also keen on a deal for Crystal Palace midfielder Barry Bannan.
19:10 - One deal that looks almost certainly off is Lee Cattermole's proposed move to Stoke. Despite reports earlier suggesting that the two clubs had agreed a feel, The Sun's North-East football report David Coverdale tweets that the player is staying with Sunderland.
18:56 - Kim Kallstrom to Arsenal looks a real goer, with BBC Sport's David Ornstein claiming that the deal is being processed after a completed medical and terms.
18:50 - Not turning into such a good day for Arsenal. According to the Daily Mirror's contacts, they have been in touch with Fiorentina regarding Colombian Juan Cuadrado to no avail.
Meanwhile, Sky's Pete O'Rourke claims that Manchester United striker Federico Macheda - who was linked with Cardiff earlier today - could be set to join Birmingham City on loan.
18:46 - DONE DEAL!
Manchester United have confirmed another loan departure, with Tom Lawrence joining Yeovil Town until the end of the season.
Not such good news on Nicolas Otamendi, however, with Tancredi Palmeri tweeting that the player will move to Valencia on loan.
18:40 - More from Taylor, who claims that Manchester United have maintained strongly that they are not interested in Fernando.
He also suggests that the feeling around Portugal is that Mangala would prefer a switch to PSG.
1834 - For all of Manchester City's obvious financial muscle, The Guardian's Daniel Taylor cites reports out of Portugal claiming that the club did not get anywhere near Porto's valuation for Fernando and Eliaquim Mangala.
1830: - Sky Sports sources also now claiming that Kim Kallstrom has completed his medical at Arsenal...
18:14 - DONE DEAL!
Southampton have confirmed that record signing Dani Osvaldo has joined Serie A champions Juventus on loan until May, with an option for the club to purchase him permanently in the summer.
18:00 - The latest on Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala - Daily Mirror reporter David McDonnell claims that, after seeing a potential double deal for the French defender and teammate Fernando collapse today, Manchester City are likely to face a bidding war over the defender with rivals Manchester United and Ligue 1 champions PSG during the summer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal look to have failed in their pursuit of another striker - with Sky's Pete O'Rourke tweeting that the club have had a loan bid for former Chelsea frontman Salomon Kalou rejected by Lille.
1754: Another twist in the Konoplyanka to Liverpool saga, with Merseyside-based Wardle-Whittell Agency reporter Timothy Abraham claiming that the Russian media are suggesting the Ukraine international IS undergoing a medical but that the deal is being held up by various agents trying to take a cut of the deal.
1743: - From a statistical standpoint, Lee Cattermole and Stoke could be a match made in heaven. According to the fine folks at WhoScored.com, no player in the Premier League has collected more red cards during the last five seasons.
Stoke, meanwhile, currently sit rock bottom of the Fair Play table for 2013/14.
1739: - Could Yevhen Konoplyanka's switch to Liverpool be in doubt? According to Russian journalist Artur Petrosyan, the Reds' offer was not good enough to convince Dnipro's president to sell.
Much more to come from this one, methinks...
1731: - Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole's proposed move to Stoke looks to be edging closer, with The Northern Echo's Scott Wilson claiming that a fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
17:26 - More from the Emirates, with Goal.com's Wayne Veysey suggesting that a deal for Miroslav Klose is OFF. Despite the player reportedly being keen, it appears that Arsenal were not able to agree a deal with Lazio.
Veysey further claims Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom has completed a medical with the Gunners and his move to North London should take place before tonight's deadline.
1721: Arsenal fans - The Daily Mail's John Edwards reports that Arsenal are targeting a deal for a Juventus striker but NOT Mirko Vucinic.
Rather, it's his teammate, Fabio Quagliarella. Edwards claims that after abandoning his pursuit of Schalke's Julian Draxler, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is looking elsewhere to strengthen his attacking options and a deal for the experienced Italian could be done before 11pm.
Staying with Arsenal for a moment, Simon Jones claims that Turkish side Trabzonspor have made an enquiry about Nicklas Bendtner.
17:16 - DONE DEALS!
17:11 - Crystal Palace could still have business to do do tonight, with The Daily Mirror's Ed Malyon claiming that the Eagles are attempting to sign Sunderland striker Connor Wickham, who was recently recalled from a loan spell with Sheffield Wednesday.
That's not the only possible incoming at Palace, however, with Malyon also suggesting that the club are also still trying to complete a deal for Tom Ince and are talking to Scott Dann and targeting Brighton midfielder Will Buckley.
17:03 - With just under six hours remaining before the window shuts once again, what deals do you think are left to be done today? Can you see any big ones coming off?
16:52 - While doubts surround the Tottenham future of Nacer Chadli, teammate Etienne Capoue - a fellow summer signing - appears as if he could be set to stay at White Hart Lane for the time being, with Rory Smith claiming that Italian outfit Napoli do not believe they will be able to sign the Frenchman.
16:43 - Could another Manchester United player be heading to Cardiff? According to the Daily Mail, the two clubs are in discussion over a deal that could see Italian outcast Federico Macheda move to South Wales.
Striker Macheda is out of contract at Old Trafford this summer.
16:35 - Looks like no hope whatsoever for Manchester City's Fernando/Mangala deal. Not happening, according to Portuguese journalist Goncalo Lopes.
16:27 - DONE DEAL!
According to the BBC's Iain Dennis, Napoli have announced that Colombian left-back Pablo Armero has joined West Ham on loan.
16:22 - Chelsea midfielder Gael Kakuta could be set to depart Stamford Bridge, with The Daily Mirror's Martin Lipton claiming it's understood that he is close to joining Serie A side Lazio with a view to a permanent deal.
16:10 - Some of our reader's thoughts, now...
On the Tom Ince saga:
@knlutd01: "#ince should follow his daddy and should depart bloomfield .."
We agree, but where?
On the best signing of the transfer window so far:
On Manchester City's transfer dealings:
@SamuelJR91: Mangala/Fernando were the players we needed. Need a new CB and depth at CM. Shame.
Keep them coming, folks.
16:04 - DONE DEALS!
QPR have confirmed the signing of Kevin Doyle on loan, while another Manchester United youngster - this time full-back Tyler Blackett - has joined Birmingham City until the end of the season, say the champions.
15:50 - A couple more bits of Championship news to clear up, Bolton have announced the signing of midfielder Liam Trotter from Millwall while Five Live's Juliette Ferrington announces that Wigan have confirmed the loan signing of Martyn Waghorn from leaders Leicester.
15:47 - Dan Roan - the BBC's chief sports correspondent - claims to have it on 'good authority' that Arsenal were offered the chance to sign Dimitar Berbatov but decided against it.
15:36 - Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is happy about Fulham's deal for Mitroglou. He's had this to say on Twitter:
"Fulham just signed our next CL opponents star man....good work Rene!! #TransferDeadlineDay"
15:32 - Some minor Manchester United news now, the club have confirmed that defender Tom Thorpe has joined Championship side Birmingham City on loan for the rest of the season
15:28 - DONE DEAL!
Fulham have fended off a late hijacking from West Ham to complete the signing of Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou from Olympiacos.
15:18 - Stoke appear desperate to secure the signing of combative Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole, with Sky Sources claiming that the Potters have made an 'improved offer' for his services.
Back at Tottenham, meanwhile, it looks as if Lewis Holtby's loan move to Fulham does not necessarily spell the end of his Tottenham career. PA's Paul Hirst has this from manager Tim Sherwood on the German's future:
"I think he's got a Tottenham future. He'll play regularly at Fulham and we look forward to welcoming him back in the summer."
15:14 - Potential disappointment for Manchester City fans now, with the Daily Mail's Simon Jones reporting that a swoop for Porto pair Fernando and Mangala is OFF due to the Portuguese club's valuation of the duo.
Jones also believes that England defender Joleon Lescott is likely to remain at the Etihad as a result, while enquiries concerning Jack Rodwell are being received.
15:09 - While Tim Sherwood has insisted there will be no incomings at White Hart Lane today, Belgian midfielder Nacer Chadli - who only joined Tottenham in the summer - could be on his way out, with Sky's Pete O'Rourke suggesting that Swansea are in talks over a loan move.
The same source has also claimed that Swansea are eyeing a potential move for Reading goalkeeper Alex McCarthy and that Michael Laudrup has admitted that defender Neil Taylor could leave.
15:03 - Things have quietened down a bit - which is the perfect time for you to share your views on anything transfer related. Don't be shy, send us your thoughts (details above) and we will publish them here!

14:45 - Over to the Etihad and the brilliant Rory Smith expects that Jack Rodwell will be allowed to leave Manchester City on loan if they are able to complete a deal for Porto's Fernando.
He does not, though, expect any move to Atletico Madrid.
14:40 - No deal done yet from Arsenal for Kim Kallstrom, it would appear, but Goal.com's Wayne Veysey is claiming that following the injury sustained by Aaron Ramsey, that the Spartak Moscow midfielder was the Gunners' third choice - after Paris Saint-Germain's Blaise Matuidi and Southampton's Morgan Schneiderlin.
Veysey says that Matuidi is extending his stay in Paris while Schneiderlin was deemeed too pricey.
14:29 - It doesn't like much/anything will be happening at Tottenham today, with PA's Paul Hirst tweeting this from Tim Sherwood:
"Daniel's asked if I want to strengthen, but I'm confident with the players we've got.I don't need anyone else, thank you very much."
Really, Tim? Wednesday's thrashing at White Hart Lane might suggest otherwise...
14:20 - More sensational stuff from the Daily Mail, with reporter Sami Mokbel claiming that Manchester City have rejected a loan offer for Micah Richards from Liverpool.
14:13 - Interesting reports from the Daily Mail's Charles Sale claim that Manchester United and Tottenham DID hold talks over two days this week concerning a potential swap deal involving Nani and Andros Townsend before negotiations eventually broke down.
Would you have been happy with that one?
14:08 - DONE DEAL!
I said that would not be the last we hear from Palace, who have also now signed Southampton winger Jason Puncheon - who was already on loan at Selhurst Park - on a permanent deal, according to The Sun.
13:57 - DONE DEAL!
Sky Sports News report that Wales international goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has completed a move from Wolves to Crystal Palace.
Something tells us this won't be the last we hear from Tony Pulis and co today, with the same source suggesting that Palace are still in talks with Blackpool star Tom Ince.
13:55 - How about this one, City fans?
talkSPORT claim that City are plotting a deadline day move for Ravel Morrison in a deal that could see Joleon Lescott head to Upton Park.
13:48 - According to Manchester Evening News journalist Mike Keegan, City boss Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that the club may do business today.
Meanwhile, on a similar theme, City target Fernando has not been included in Porto's squad for this weekend. Eliaquim Mangala, though, is in says the Daily Mirror.
Could one be heading to the Etihad Stadium without the other?
13:42 - A few bits and pieces to bring you from the Championship now...
Blackburn Rovers have confirmed the signing of Cardiff City midfielder Craig Conway, while Sky Sports reporter Graeme Bailey claims that Charlton striker Yann Kermorgant has joined rivals Bournemouth on a two-and-a-half year deal.
The Telegraph's Matt Law, meanwhile, reports that Blackburn defender Scott Dann is close to joining Crystal Palace.
13:35 - If you believe Jose Mourinho, then Chelsea's signing of Kurt Zouma will be the last piece of business done by the Blues today. The Daily Mirror's Martin Lipton has these quotes from the Portuguese:
''Zouma is the last one of the transfer window. In almost every position we now have the present and also the future.''But that's it. No more. None. Nobody is going out. The squad is short.''
He wouldn't lie to us now, would he?
13:27 - Liverpool's move for Yevhen Konoplyanka - thought to be in some doubt earlier - looks as if it is edging closer to complete with then ever-reliable Peter O'Rourke claiming that personal terms have been agreed and the player is set to sign a five-and-a-half year deal.

13:18 - Frimpong has tweeted the following after leaving Arsenal:
"AFC thank you for the memories thanks for the support thanks for the Love.I wish the team wins the league this year.Forever will be in my ❤️."
13:16 - Just to clarify, Emmanuel Frimpong's deal from Arsenal to Barnsley is permanent, rather than a loan, and he joins on an undisclosed fee until the end of the season.
13:10 - According to Northern Echo supremo Scott Wilson, Stoke have lodged a second bid for Sunderland midfielder Lee Cattermole and are confident of getting their man.
Could the signing of Liam Bridcutt give the green light for Cattermole to leave the Stadium of Light?
Elsewhere, West Brom are - according to Peter O'Rourke - closing in on the loan signing of Espanyol striker Thievy Bifouma.
12:59 - DONE DEAL!

The Daily Mail has these comments from David Moyes:
"You can stand your cameras down at the gates of the training ground. We have done our business. I'm not disappointed we only got one in. I said at the start we wouldn't do much. Juan has been everything I thought."
Are you okay with this, Manchester United fans? Is Moyes' squad strong enough to achieve a top-four berth this season?
12:25 - DONE DEAL!

12:18 - Some of your thoughts now on dream transfers...
@DurcakMisa: "As a Chelsea fan Zouma is ideal imo."
@EngrSeries: "Diego Costa to #Chelsea"
@raulchawla: "Diego Costa to Chelsea..#deadlineday"
Chelsea fans keen on Atletico Madrid frontman Diego Costa. Given that he has 19 goals in 21 La Liga games so far this season, that's certainly no surprise.
Keep your thoughts coming...
12:04 - More Arsenal rumblings now, with the Daily Mail breaking news that the Gunners are lining up a deadline day swoop for German striker Miroslav Klose.
The 35-year-old currently plays his football in Serie A with Lazio.
12:01 Telegraph reporter Matt Law has the following quotes from Holtby's agent, Markus Noack, after his client's move to Fulham...
"Fulham is a very well run club with an excellent manager Rene Meulensteen. The system and philosophy how Fulham play fits well with Lewis. He will play games in his favourite position.
"Then we'll see how things are in the summer. A move to the Bundesliga was shattered by circumstances we couldn't control."
11:56 - For the Newcastle supporters among you, today may be a bit of a quiet one with Ben Smith - who is pretty good - not expecting any new arrivals at St. James' Park. Though that could change, of course.
Meanwhile, Papiss Cisse could be on his way out of the North East, with the Daily Mail reporting that a 'mystery' club from the Middle East has made an £8 million bid for the Senegalese striker.
11:53 - DONE DEAL!

BBC Sport say that Lewis Holtby - who has been training with Fulham this morning - has completed a loan move to Craven Cottage for the rest of the season.
11:49 - DONE DEAL!
Seemingly enjoying their descent into mediocrity, AC Milan have pulled off a real head-scratcher by loaning Adel Taarabt. If anyone wants to explain that one to me, I'm all ears.
"I feel very happy and I'm so proud to be here," Taarabt has said.
We bet you are, Adel...
11:44 - DONE DEAL!
Back to the Championship and Harry Redknapp is living up to his deadline day reputation by completing a loan deal for Fulham defender Aaron Hughes.
11:39 - KALLSTROM KLAXON! We get a feeling this is one that will run all day with John Cross tweeting that he has arrived at Arsenal's training ground to complete talks and a medical ahead of a potential loan move.
11:34 - Nani, unofficially the world's most inconsistent winger, looks like he will also be staying at Manchester United with the Daily Mail reporting that his potential suitors - namely Serie A duo Juventus and Inter Milan - have been put off by his £12 million price tag.
11:31 - Across London and it appears as if Fulham are close to signing Lewis Holtby from Tottenham. The player is reportedly training with Rene Meulensteen's team this morning ahead of the deal.
11:26 - More Kallstrom opinion now, with Stan Collymore giving his two-cents worth ...
"Seen plenty of Kallstrom for Lyon and Sverige. Decent orthodox midfielder. Nothing out of the ordinary. Adds more physicality perhaps."
Hmm, not much for Arsenal fans to get excited about, it would seem!
11:23 - Liverpool's move for Yevhen Konoplyanka looks as if it could be in doubt, with the Daily Mail suggesting that the player is unsure about making the move.
Across the Mersey, The Times say that Everton have held talks with Ajax over Finnish defender Niklas Moisander.
11:19 - One player who looks like he won't be moving to the Emirates today is Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic. Sources in Italy claim that Valencia have lodged a bid to take him on loan.
11:14 - Beware the Kallstrom? Russian-based sports correspondent James Ellingworth has had this to say about the Spartak midfielder...
"Arsenal fans beware - Kim Kallstrom has been a huge disappointment at
Spartak this last year and a half. Often barely involved in games."
Would you be happy with this one Arsenal fans? Tweet us at @GMS_Football or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to have your say!
11:08 - An update for Gunners fans on the Kallstrom rumours, the Daily Mirror's John Cross is reporting that the midfielder missed training with Spartak in Abu Dhabi last night due to a slight injury problem
Elsewhere, in what will presumably later go down as the most bizarre rumour of the day, Manchester City midfielder Jack Rodwell (remember him?) could be a potential loan target for La Liga title chasers Atletico Madrid.
11:05 - DONE DEAL!
Another loan move is done, with James Olley confirming that QPR - who will be without striker Charlie Austin for the foreseeable future - have signed Wolves' Kevin Doyle.
10:55 - Dani Osvaldo appears to be inching closer to completing his loan switch to Juventus. The Italian club have confirmed that the feisty frontman is having a medical.
10:52 - You lot are rather quiet this morning! Come on now, send us your thoughts on anything transfer related and we will feature it here! Who are you hoping your club will sign today?
10:47 - Could there be another twist to come in the Draxler to Arsenal saga? Tancredi Palmeri claims that the Gunners ARE trying to sign the Schalke starlet.
10:40 - DONE DEAL!
Sky Sports reporter Peter O'Rourke is claiming that Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha's loan move to Cardiff City - where he will link up with Red Devils favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - is done.
Pleased with that, United fans? Do you see a future for Zaha at Old Trafford?
10:34 - Dimitar Berbatov is set to move on today, but the Daily Mail claim it will be to Ligue 1 outfit Monaco.
In other Mail-related breaking news, it looks as if Everton defender Jonny Heitinga will remain in the Premier League and join Fulham - subject to a medical, of course.
10:26 - People of Barnsley, I hope you are ready for things to get 'dench' at Oakwell - whatever that means, anyway. Basically, it seems that forgotten Arsenal midfielder is set to join Danny Wilson's side.
Also, the aforementioned Jeremy Wilson is now clarifying that any potential Arsenal deal for Kallstrom would be a loan, rather than a permanent transfer.
10:20 - An interesting one for Arsenal fans, let us know your thoughts on this - Daily Telegraph journalist Jeremy Wilson is claiming that the Gunners are working on a deal to sign veteran Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom from Spartak Moscow..
10:16 - Staying in Sunderland and it seems that Jozy Altidore could be in line to end his short stay at the Stadium of Light, with the Daily Mail suggesting that they are willing to listen to offers for the American international.
The Mail also report that Manchester City could use midfielder Javi Garcia as a makeweight in their pursuit of Fernando and Mangala.
10:12 - DONE DEAL!
Sunderland have agreed a deal to sign Liam Bridcutt from Brighton on a three-year contract. The tenacious midfielder will be well-known to Black Cats boss Gus Poyet having played under him on the South Coast.
10:04 - The latest from Old Trafford, courtesy of Duncan Castles who suggests that Manchester United have offered €15 million for the services of Porto defender Nicolas Otamendi.
Let's hear your thoughts United fans - would this be a transfer you are keen on?
10:00 - Dani Osvaldo's long-term future at Southampton is looking increasingly uncertain, with The Times' own Gary Jacob reporting that his loan deal with Juventus will included an option for the Italian club to buy him permanently for £17m.
Would you be happy to see him leave for good, Saints fans?
09:53 - Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez looks as if he will be staying put at Old Trafford, with the Mexican's agent having moved to confirm this. He also claimed that there is a lot of European interest in Hernandez, though and he is unsure what will happen after this summer's World Cup.
Elsewhere, Liverpool appear to be on the verge of completing a deal for Ukraine winger Yevhen Konoplyanka. Managing director Ian Ayre is believed to be close to sealing the deal for the Dnipro star on a £60,000-per-week, four-and-a-half year deal.
09:48 - Just a little reminder folks that the window shuts at 2300 GMT this evening and NOT midnight as we have seen in previous years.
09:42 - To Stamford Bridge now and The Independent are reporting that Chelsea will sign St.Etienne defender Kurt Zouma for a fee of £12.5 million but that the player will remain in France on loan until the end of the season.
The same report suggests that this move puts John Terry's future into some confusion.
The Indy also claim that Tottenham are interested in bringing Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov back to White Hart Lane, with Fulham willing to sell.
However, at this juncture, it is unlikely that such a switch will be sanctioned by manager Tim Sherwood or director Franco Baldini.
09:32 - BBC reporter Ben Smith says that Dani Osvaldo - Southampton's record signing - is on his way to Italy to complete a loan move to Serie A champions Juventus.
Meanwhile, Wenger appears now to have given hope over some deadline day signings. The London Evening Standard's James Olley has this quote from the Frenchman's press conference:
"We are short and I am confident we will bring someone in today. It is 80-20 (likely)."
09:26 - Right, let's get started shall we? It looks as if Arsenal fans shouldn't hold high hopes of any deal for Julian Draxler today. The Daily Mail claim that the player is ready to move but that Arsene Wenger is hesitant over the price.
Elsewhere, Manchester City appear to be chasing a late double swoop for Porto pair Fernando and Eliaquim Mangala, while West Ham could be set to hijack Fulham's bid for Greek striker Kostas Mitroglou.
