Monaco have made a shock move for maverick striker Dimitar Berbatov, as they look to complete a deadline day signing.

The Daily Mail is already reporting that the striker has arrived in France, with a medical due to take place, before the signing can be confirmed, with the club wanting him to bring
Spurs were the heavy favourites to land the striker, but it now appears he has moved elsewhere, meaning that Tottenham are still in the market for a forward.
Berbatov has been linked with a move away from Craven Cottage throughout the transfer window, and it now looks as if it's going to happen.

Berbatov has featured 19 times for the Cottagers this season, contributing five goals, but it looks as if his time at Craven Cottage is coming to an end.
