Manchester United and Chelsea target Toni Kroos has rejected the idea of leaving Bayern Munich for another club, according to talkSPORT.
The report in question claims that the 24-year-old, who is valued at around £24million by his club, has rubbished suggestions that he will leave the reigning German and European champions, despite rumours that he was surplus to requirements.
Only last week did Bayern manager Pep Guardiola add fuel to speculation that Kroos could be transferring away from the club, when he refused to rule out the possibility.
Yet it now seems as though a deal won’t be happening either this month or in the summer, as sources close to the star have insisted he is focused on agreeing a new deal with his current club.
United’s need for a midfielder like Kroos is there for all to see, and Chelsea were supposed to be monitoring his situation as well. However it now looks as though they will both have to turn to other targets, as the Bayern man has no intention of departing the Allianz Arena.
