Magic Johnson has taken to Twitter to reveal that he will no longer complain about the Los Angeles Lakers as it does no good, reports USAToday.
The NBA legend, who was five titles with the Lakers in his career, has criticised the team on a number of occasions throughout the last few years.
However, he's now admitted that his complaining doesn't help anyone at the Lakers and he's fully behind the team.
Writing on Twitter, Johnson said: "Laker Nation: I'm going to stop complaining. I'm going to support and encourage Jim Buss and Coach D'Antoni because I love the Lakers!
"Laker Nation: It doesn't do the Lakers players, coaches or ownership any good for me to complain."
The Lakers will be pleased that they have the backing of Johnson and will now be hoping that things turn around this season.
The team have been in terrible form of late having lost their last five games. However with the support of Johnson, they will be hoping to return to winning ways against the Charlotte Bobcats at the Staples Centre tomorrow.
The Bobcats themselves will be hoping to make it back-to-back wins against the Lakers after they beat the Denver Nuggets 101-98 yesterday.
