6. Javier Hernandez – Manchester United

It would be a huge shame if Javier Hernandez misses out on the 2014 World Cup finals due to a lack of playing time with Manchester United.

The livewire Mexican striker faces another frustrating few months on the bench at Old Trafford after failing to force a move away from the Premier League champions.

Hernandez doesn't bring as much to the table as Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney or even, it could be argued, Danny Welbeck. Subsequently, it's hard to imagine him making too many starts between now and May.
