Bruno Mars has revealed that he has concerns about performing at the Super Bowl in cold conditions this Sunday.
When asked by Rich Eisen of NFL Network, Mars said: "It's like any other performance. It's different because of the weather... In the cold the mic is metal and it becomes a popsicle."
Bruno Mars will be one of the performers during the Pepsi half time show during the Super Bowl. The Red Hot Chilli Peppers will also be performing during the interval.
At 28, Mars in one of the youngest performers in Super Bowl history and he thanked the organizers of the event for giving him a chance to play in front of milllions of people worldwide. "Thank you NFL for giving the new guy a shot." he gushed to Eisen and former NFL player Deion Sanders.
Much has been made about the weather at the Super Bowl with early forecasts calling for snow showers and temperatures around 25 degrees Fahrenheit.
Reports during the week have revealed that temperatures will only drop into the 30s during the game with minimal wind and no precipitation.
It is thought that 110 million people watched Beyonce perform at last years Super Bowl.
