The first weekend of February marks the special annual occasion of the SuperBowl. This year's game will be contested between the AFC champion Denver Broncos and the NFC champion Seattle Seahawks at Metlife stadium in New York Sunday night. Sportsbooks across America currently have Denver favored by 2.5 points, but the question on everyone's lips is: just what will happen when the best offense meets the best defense in the NFL?

Here are five bold predictions for Sunday's game when Manning and his offense takes the field.

1: Peyton Manning throws for under 250 yards. Manning has averaged over 342 yards per game this year, but in the cold weather, against the "Legion Of Boom" the 36 year old will struggle to find the rhythm he has all season.

2: Knowshon Moreno rushes for over 100 yards. The Broncos split carries all season between veteran Moreno and rookie Montee Ball averaging 117 yards per game and 4.1 yards per carry but the Seahawks rank seventh in run defense, but armed with the best pass defense in the NFL the Broncos will lean heavily on the run game during the Superbowl which will give starter Moreno around 120 yards rushing

3: Peyton Manning throws for two touchdowns. Manning has thrown a record breaking 55 TD's this season averaging almost 3.5 touchdown passes per game, yet the Seahawks defense has only given up 16 touchdowns all year, whilst no tandem is good enough to completely shut down Peyton Manning, the Seahawks are definitely good enough to limit his impact, something which very few teams have been able to do during his record breaking 2013 campaign.

4: Richard Sherman will pick off Peyton Manning. Sherman has been the spotlight all year for his outstanding ball hawk and coverage ability as well for his trash talking off the field-notoriously his post game interview after the team's NFC championship victory over the 49ers before being subjected to serious racial abuse and being labelled a "thug." Sherman will once again be in the headlines on Monday, this time for positive reasons as Manning will throw to the cornerback's side of the field once too much and the all pro Stanford graduate will make him pay for it.

5: Seahawks will sack Manning three times. This may not sound like a bold prediction, but Manning has only been brought down 20 times all year due to a stellar Offensive line and an expert release point and was not sacked once during the Broncos AFC championship victory over the New England Patriots but the Seahawks defense  ranked 8th in the NFL with 44 sacks during the 2013 season and it might take the deadly Broncos recieving core longer than usual to get open against the Seattle defense.
