Micah Richards, Manchester City's forgotten right-back, has seen himself fall down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium after more than ten years at the club.
In my opinion, he's worthy of possessing a regular spot in Manuel Pellegrini's side but unfortunately money is always a factor on the blue side of Manchester.
For Richards' career to continue to be successful, he needs to gain himself a transfer to another Premier League team. This would give him more of a chance of reviving himself as a player, as personally I can't see him being required for much longer at his current club.
Richards is a very defensive full-back, but occasionally we can witness him bombing down the right-hand side at electrifying speeds. His outstanding strength and tackling abilities are eye-catching.
The one negative factor that Richards and his managers have had to encounter over the years is the fact that he is injury prone. It would be extremely rare for him to go a whole season without picking up a knock, which has occasionally left doom and gloom over his future for the Premier League's biggest spenders.
It's rather obvious that Richards will not be in Roy Hodgson's plans this summer regarding the World Cup in Brazil. However, had Micah been playing regular football, we could have been looking at an entirely different story.
