Jose Mourinho has further criticised Manchester City ahead of his Chelsea side's visit to the Etihad, claiming the Citizens should have won more silverware.
The Blues boss had already attacked City's spending culture, but has now said how they should have been more successful in the last few seasons.
Despite their recent rise to the top, "they have won one title and a couple of cups," Mourinho explained to reporters. "In Europe they didn't do well, or even close to doing well. They did very bad in the Champions League in previous seasons, also in the Europa League."
City won the Premier League in 2011-12 following-up their FA Cup triumph the previous year. This season, however, is the first in three attempts that the blue half of Manchester have made it past the group-stage of Europe's elite competition, finishing second behind Bayern Munich.
They have also made it to the final of the League Cup, meet Chelsea in the FA cup and are favourites to regain the Premier League.
But Mourinho insists with the squad they have they should win more titles. "The team is fantastic, the squad is fantastic, and normally they should win more titles."
Manuel Pellegrini's men lead Chelsea by three points heading into the fixture, with many believing the match will be crucial in the race for the title.
