Yohan Cabaye from Newcastle to PSG

This is an excellent signing for PSG, as Cabaye is as good a player as you could possibly sign without being cup-tied in the Champions League. The French international had been rumored to be moving to both Arsenal and Manchester United, but has secured a move home and will be happy with the jump from mid-table football, to the rich promise of trophies in Paris. This will be a major blow for Newcastle United as they lose their midfield lynchpin, and yet another blow in an already disappointing season.

Dimitar Berbatov from Fulham to Monaco

The extremely talented yet enigmatic striker is a bargain deal to try to replace the seemingly irreplaceable injured Radamel Falcao in Monaco. There’s no doubting Berbatov’s talent after successful spells at Tottenham, and hints of brilliance at Manchester United, but after a step down to Fulham, the Bulgarian may have lost some confidence. A move to a top side in France should be just what Berbatov needs, and he should be looking to repay the faith shown by Monaco to sign him in lots of goals to fill the void left by Falcao—and Fulham have signed a good replacement in Greek international Mitroglou, so everyone wins here.

Bryan Ruiz from Fulham to PSV

Fulham stay busy. After signing Greek striker Konstantinos Mitroglou and American Clint Dempsey, Fulham have lost strikers Dimitar Berbatov, Adel Tarrabt, and now the dynamic Costa Rican, Bryan Ruiz. This is a good signing for PSV, but a step down for the big, creative midfielder. His latest form has been a bit of a disappointment for Fulham after a successful first season with the Londoners, but he will be looking to reboot his career in Holland.

Kevin De Bruyne from Chelsea to Wolfsburg

Chelsea find themselves on the end of some bad business again, after buying back Nemanja Matic from Benfica. After a short and unsuccessful spell at Chelsea, Kevin De Bruyne has secured a move back to Wolfsburg. A good move for both for him and the German side, as he was terrific on loan at Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga last season and he will be looking to find his form again in time for Belgium at the World Cup this summer.
