Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Paulinho has outlined the importance of returning to winning ways against rivals Everton.
Spurs host the Toffees on Sunday in a crucial match in the race for the top four, with Paulinho stressing the need to win the game.
The Brazilian, who scored in his side's 1-1 draw at Hull, his first game for a month following injury, insisted his side's point at the KC Stadium was an important one, but that they must now beat Everton.
"We now have an important game against Everton. We know we have to try and win that match at home," he told the official Tottenham Hotspur website.
Just one point separates the clubs ahead of the game, with both looking to keep the pressure on fourth placed Liverpool.
Everton responded to their 4-0 drubbing in the Merseyside derby with a hard fought 2-1 win over Aston Villa, but it's now two games without a win for Tim Sherwood and his side, the draw at Hull coming off the back of a 5-1 thrashing at home to Manchester City.
It will certainly be a big test for Sherwood and Tottenham, up against an Everton side who have lost just three times all season.
They will, however, be boosted by the return of Jan Vertonghen and Younes Kaboul, both of whom are fit again after long-term injuries.
