Who has more swag - Joe Namath at the Super Bowl or the IKEA monkey?

Joe Namath dressed to impress at the Super Bowl last night.

In town to perform the coin toss ahead of the big game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos, he rocked up in a vintage fur coat to protect himself from the cold New Jersey weather.

The Huggy Bear style coat at first rekindled memories of Nameth in his prime - with the Hall-of-Famer having donned similar jackets in the 1970s.

But now it appears Nameth has some competition in the style stakes.

Faster than you could say 'doesn't Joe Nameth look like that monkey who was trapped in IKEA wearing a fur coat a few years ago' social media had made the connection - and as you can see from the picture above, the resemblance is uncanny.

The monkey in question gained international media attention when he was found roaming around a Canadian IKEA store, dressed immaculately in his fur coat.

The Huffington Post asked its readers to vote for who they felt wore it better; Nameth, the monkey, or Macclemore who is famous for his extravagant fur coats.

And it seems the masses believe the monkey, named 'Darwin', has more swag, with the animal gaining 65% of the votes, compared to just 25% for the former Super Bowl MVP.
