Russell Wilson may have just led his team to a Super Bowl victory in his second NFL season but controversial ESPN analyst Skip Bayless is still not convinced.

On the network's First Take program, Bayless said that he would take Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III among others ahead of Wilson

FirstTake tweeted out a quote from the show: "I'd still take @RGIII,(Andrew) Luck, @CameronNewton & (Colin) @Kaepernick7 over Russell Wilson."

Griffin had a successful rookie season, making the playoffs despite injury but struggled in his second year as the Redskins only won three games.

Andrew Luck and Cam Newton have only one playoff victory between them whilst Wilson's Seahawks beat Kaepernick's 49ers to reach the Super Bowl.

Bayless' colleague from ESPN, Stephen A Smith partially agreed with him stating that he thought Luck and Newton were better than Wilson.

"I'm still not picking [Russell Wilson] over Andrew Luck or @CameronNewton." he said on the show.

Wilson was a third round pick in the 2012 draft whilst Luck and Griffin were drafted number one and two overall that year. Newton was the first overall pick in 2011 whilst Kaepernick was a second round pick that year.
