The Miami Heat will hope to avoid a second successive home defeat when they face the Detroit Pistons at American Airlines Center later tonight.
The Pistons have their own targets in mind however. After winning their last two games, Detroit have the playoffs on their mind and aim to attack what could be a vulnerable Heat team in order to keep their hot streak going.
The Heat could be without LeBron James, who injured a shoulder in their win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Dwayne Wade is also listed as day-to-day with soreness after starting the game against the Knicks.
Miami dropped their last home game to the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-95 and were 8-5 through the month of January.
Despite their recent indifferent form, the Heat are still in second place in the conference. The Pistons meanwhile are just one game outside the playoff positions as we near the All-Star break.
